Our Story

Long before Clippard's Furniture & Interiors opened its doors in 1961, the Clippard family had deep roots in this community. As a family of sharecroppers who farmed just a few miles from where our showroom stands today, we learned firsthand the value of hard work, integrity, and every hard-earned dollar.

What began as Kerry "Pop" Clippard's dream of building a better life for his family started as a one-man, home-based flooring business and has grown into the family-owned furniture store you know today. But Pop's vision reached beyond his own family. He believed his neighbors deserved access to quality home furnishings at fair prices, backed by honest service they could trust.

More than six decades later, our commitment to those values remains unchanged. Family, faith, integrity, and treating people the right way continue to guide every decision we make.

Our name is on the door because it means something to us. We believe a person's reputation is built on keeping their word and standing behind a handshake. That philosophy has carried us through more than 60 years in business and continues today under the leadership of Pop's son, Steve, and grandson, David.
